The compact air-screen cleaner can not only be used for pre-cleaning but also for intensive cleaning and seed cleaning. The F 12 features variable screen diagrams, in which the middle screen can be used flexibly. The middle and lower screens are cleaned with brushes which ensure screen efficiency independent of motor speed.</p>
<p>The in-feed consists of a weight-loaded cylindric roller. For poor flowing products an optional pinned barrel can be used. Independent of the product and performance, the in-feed system guarantees a uniform dispersion over the complete screen surface . The separation of coarse or large particles is carried out with the upper screen. Smaller particles and impurities are separated in the middle and bottom screen. With the help of an additional moving floor and flowing goods distributor, both of the F 12 lower screens can be switched either in parallel or sequentially. In the sequential switching the middle screen is used as a relief screen for the lower screen. The overflow moves to the PETKUS dual channel final aspiration with adjustable supply flap. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The PETKUS U-Cleaner (Universal Cleaner) can be used for all purposes. It is a robust and reliable universal cleaner in the mid-high capacity category and can be used for pre-, intensive and seed cleaning. Depending on whether the product to be cleaned is seed or commodities, the cleaner can process between 8 and 80 t/h and is available in two different sizes.</p>
<p>The U-cleaner is equipped with an inlet hopper, one pre-air separator and one final air separator with deposit chamber, as well as two screen compartments oscillating in opposite directions each with two screen layers. The different components are driven by gear motors. The product is moved from the inlet hopper into the pre-aspiration where light rejects, husk and dust are separated. Afterwards the product is transported into the top screen compartment with the two screen layers. The first screen layer is used for separating the coarse rejects and the second screen layer can either be used for separating coarse or light rejects depending on the desired mode of cleaning. The two screen layers in the bottom screen compartment can be used for separating coarse and light rejects or for calibrating the product by using the product diverters and chutes, depending on the mode of cleaning.</p>

The pre-cleaning capacity is up to 150 t/h and therefore ensures high throughput rates with high separating quality before the products are stored.</p>
<p>The product is equally separated by a product diverter onto the two screen compartments which oscillate in opposite directions. Each one is equipped with a scalper screen and two screen layers. Coarse (scalper and top screen) and light rejects (bottom screen) are separated here. The screened product is moved into the final air separation where it is sorted according to its bulk density. Light rejects such as hollow and foreign grains, as well as dust are removed here. All screens are cleaned with balls which are placed under the screens. The scalper screens are additionally equipped with a scraper chain.<br />&nbsp;<br />Characteristics</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>PETKUS Type K Seed Cleaners are optionally equipped with or without an indented cylinder. The K-series stands for robust and reliable cleaning machines, which are the best choice for smaller capacities of industrial cleaning or seed cleaning of grain, oilseeds, pulses, grass and vegetable seeds. The high standard of cleaning is achieved by a combination of several cleaning processes (the screening system, the air aspiration system, and the indented cylinder).</p>
<p>The product is moved from the inlet hopper through the pre-aspiration duct where light rejects, husk and dust are separated. Afterwards, the product is transported to the screen compartment. The top screen separates large and coarse rejects and is cleaned by means of a screen agitator. Light rejects are separated by the bottom screen and a brush carriage cleans the bottom screen. The screened product is transported through the final aspiration duct where further light rejects with a lower density are separated by the air flow. The cleaned product is transported to the indented cylinders where short rejects such as broken grains and round weed seeds are rejected. The cleaned seed is then moved to the bagging devices on the indented cylinder and can be bagged-off here.</p>

<p>The first screen layer is used for separating the coarse rejects and the second screen layer can either be used for separating coarse or light rejects depending on the desired mode of cleaning. The four screen layers in the bottom screen compartment can be used for separating coarse and light rejects or for calibrating the product by using the product diverters and chutes. Excellent cleaning results are achieved due to the variable screening diagrams and the patented PETKUS Dual-Channel-Aspiration System. The closed, bolted and painted steel construction ensures a long service life.</p>

The high standard of cleaning is achieved by a combination of the screening system and the air separation.</p>
<p>Cleaning sets the basis for improved product quality in the rest of the process chain. Both coarse and fine impurities as well as foreign and broken grains are carefully and gently separated from a seed lot. Cleaning with the PETKUS A-Cleaner means quality for the farmers, seed producers and processors, and ultimately the consumer. Cleaning is therefore also consumer protection.</p>
